It seams a lot of us (long haired guys) have tatoos - at least more than the cross section of people I come across. Or is it just that those that post pics have tatoos.
I have four tattoos.

I think many guys with short hair have tats too. I'd say that percentage-wise it's probably pretty equal.

i have Long Hair but i don't have any Tattoos or Piercings of any kind so i'm not sure
I know most of my friends and people in the tattoo scene that I notice at tattoo conventions have mostly short hair.
Myself, I have had no hair, long hair, yet the strangely the tattoos remain.

Try www.bmezine.com ...it's not a message board, per se, but it has TONS of information, pictures, a Q&A kinda thing, and an online community with several thousand members. The community has TONS of little message boards, hosted by the members on every topic imaginable.
I don't know for sure what it requires to get a membership now, I got mine when it was still relatively new. I think you just have to contribute photos to the galleries, according to whatever they need images of.

Oh yeah, and to keep this on topic, there are tons of longhairs, and even some Longhair/Tattoo boards.

I think the free-thinking required for longhair or tattoos attracts the same kind of people. It also takes some degree of bravery to sport hair or tattoos.
I have two tattoos myself, with more to come (tattoos cost money).
Never noticed that. When I think of longhairs most that come to mind don't have any tatoos that I can see. Don't have any myself.
I can recall a number of former longhairs who are all tatooed up but found that the trendy short hair styles are more to their liking. Nikky Sixx and Tommy Lee are good examples of that.
Maybe we've got a heightened willingness to express ourselves in physical ways. I have one tattoo to remind myself of my Celtic roots.
Nor do I have pierced ears. Some long hairs are very conservative (except for the long hair ;)

I think that wherever you look, there's gonna be more tattoos, 'cause it got to catch on as a bit of a trend. But I can't wait for a few more years to pass, 'cause this is one that's gonna come back and bite those trend-hopping popular kids right on the arse.

I thought about getting a tattoo about 18 months ago. My wife was dead against it and threatened to have her hair cut short if I did. I didn't get a tattoo and my wife's hair is still long. That's when I started growing my hair!
