I think this is another one of those "grass is greener" things. But how many people here think that long hair looks cool when it starts going grey? My favorite grey-haired look is shoulder-length to mid-back, either grey-streaked or fully grey, and a salt-and-peppered or fully-greyed beard at about an inch or two. Sort of that outdoorsy, "I live in a log cabin, I just hiked down here for some coffee, and I'm friends with a moose" look. I think it's more a look that guys with a huskier build can pull off. (Like that car commercial with the poem "There's a place that I go when I want to roam . . . and nobody knows it but me". You don't see the guy too clearly, but that's the look I'm talking about.)
What's everyone else thinking?
Maybe I'm just weird, but I think grey hair is fantastic, I'd love to have long grey/white hair in my declining years.
You are hardly weird........no way! And now at my age I just have a little, (and I mean little) sneeking in. Doesn't bother me in the slighest. Actually I rather like it. My hair is very dark brown, but this is beginning to "spice-up" things. Fun! I also think grey hair quite fantastic. :-)
he..he...LoL
"I live in a log cabin, I just hiked down here for some coffee, and I'm friends with a moose" look.
I AM that look basically, and I never thought 'bout puttin' it quite that way. Very good! I don't have gray hair *yet*, but it gives me a different, (better?), way of looking at something I was, until now, dreading, THANX!
