Yeah, finally got it done. I can't really comment on it as it is still soaking wet. It looks good but one thing I didn't like is that the guy took off alot less than I asked him to (just noticed this at home) so I'm probably going to have to go again and ask him to cut it up higher. The back is perfect but at the front you can barely tell I have an undercut, this sounds like a good thing but if I'm going to be paying for haircuts now I at least want to be able to tell I have one. This can easily be fixed though & I'm happy with the results so far though.
Me have a under cut for 2 months and i really liked it , make my hair looks thinner
I got an undercut about year and a bit ago, and have regretted it ever since. The dumb cow hairdresser took it up too high (it's about 2 inches above my ear), and it's incredibly thin. My hair was about down to the bottom of my ears at this point. When it started to get to my shoulders, I just couldn't wear it down because it stuck out everywhere. This is when I started to really regret the undercut. So I started wearing it tied back, but after a while my hair became damaged and broken, and I recently had to have about an inch and a half cut off because it wouldn't grow any further, it just broke. So now my hair is just near to my shoulders, and I only tie it back when I'm going out somewhere.
Then today, the hairdresser came round to tidy the ends and trim my undercut, but then the cow messed it up by taking a chunk out of the front of my hair!! So now if I tie it back it looks stupid because there's a huge gap, and if I wear it down it looks stupid because it flicks out everywhere. So I've gotta have a whole layer taken off the undercut all the way round to make it even, which makes it thinner, which means that my scalp will show through. And I can't grow out my undercut until my hair is long enough to wear down.
In short, DON'T get an undercut unless your hair is EXTREMELY thick, and in that case, just got a very slight undercut. EVERYONE I know who has got an undercut, has regretted it eventually. Just put up with the thickness for a couple of months, then it will be fine.

back in the punk daze I had a mohawk very short sides middle long, down to the middle of my back rarely wore it up
okay trimm your dead ends makes for better looking hair

I asked my mom if she could cut it up higher, she said yeah but she had a friend who cuts hair (I had no clue about this) and called her b/c she didn't want to mess up my hair. So her friend came over to my house and cut my hair up higher just like I wanted, it looks great now. But once again it is soaking wet b/c I just showered so I won't be able to comment on it until tomorrow. Now here's the really cool part, my mom's friend said she would cut it/trim it whenever I wanted for free, that put a big smile on my face. As far as pics, I'll try to get some as soon as I can tie it all back (probably about a month or two)

Yea, I don't want to go to high either. Well so far so good, the hair is still a bit frizzy but ALOT of the thickness is gone and my hair feels much lighter, I'm really glad I had this done.
