Okay, I have a question...I used to color my hair when it was shorter, but I decided to grow it out (@ 8 months now.) You cant really tell where it starts or stops, it's just a bit redder as I have dark brown hair. I (stupidly) dyed it back to my original color (about at 5 months) really with no results, i guess it faded? My question is, how should i go about removing the color. i'll eventually cut it out, or is this un-necessary? I see some products that "remove" color from hair, is this the way to go? which will be better in the long run, as I aspire to have ONE colored hair, haha. Will i be better off just cutting all of the damaged hair now, or later, or should I at all? Please help me someone! BTW I used L'oreal Preferance, if that matters at all...Later, Justin
while not really offering any advice im in the same situation.. i have naturally dark brown hair but from dying my hair before i have black hair at the tips of my hair... i dont really want to cut it and this will do what i dont want and shorten it. so i plan to leave it in untill its long enuff to cut and not notice it.
i frequently color and change my hair color,,,,,my addvive is to break down and go to a salon,,,not just a hair cutter,,,go to an actual salon,,,,,they can fix it,,,its no big deal,,i do it all the time and my hair is healthy,,,very heathy,,,as a matter a fact i am getting it colored tomorow,,
Well I have about 9 months of dyed hair and 9 months of undyed hair on my head. I think It may be damaged, I'm really not sure and quite frankly at the present time I couldn't care, I guess I'd rather the length than the colour out.
My suggestion to anyone is to just leave it and cut it after a year or so of growth.
