Im trying to grow my hair out in a way that still looks a bit conservative. Iv'e decided to make it into a ponytail, but i dont know what to do about bangs. Iv'e seen pictures of guys with long bangs pulled back into ponytails, and in some cases it looks a little too.. aggressive i guess would be the word (im thinking stereotypical martial arts villain). In any case, i wouldn't expect to see someone at a company like that. Does anyone know of a standard type hairstyle for a ponytail (bangs and length wise) that looks more "executive" (if that's possible). Any links to pictures of such would be greatly appreciated.
That's because they pull their hair STRAIGHT BACK!
To overcome that look... PART your hair in the middle OR off to the SIDE...
then make a tail.
Good Luck!
That's what I do...pull it straight back. I don't care for any other look when I have a tail. Then again, I rarely put my hair in a tail anyway!
OK. I have to disagree. I'm a conservative (politically). I resent that word being used to mean "short haircut" or anything else. I realize that it's a common vernacular regarding a "trite" and "jaded" lifestyle -- but, I get tired of it.
Short-hair does not equal "conservative". Long-hair does not equal "liberal".
Sorry, gentlemen -- I guess I'm just used to hearing about stereotypes. I don't mean to ofend anyone's beliefs.
Of course, I could be totally off -- considering that I'm on my second (32oz) rum and coke [well, Pepsi].
Damn -- I'm catching a buzz! Please excuse my rantings.
Anyway -- take care, ALL.

I ment to spell "offend" with two "FF"'s. Damn Rum and Pepsi!
What are 'bangs'??? - I've never heard this word in England (well not to do with hair anyway).
American bangs = British fringe
well, i mean the hair right on the top of your face, which cover your forehead, and in some styles i [think] i have seen, they are trimmed and worn down rather than brought back into a pony tail
