How long has hair to be to be able to put it into a ponytail? Please tell me in CM but if you just know the inches it´s also ok :)
Rather than tell you in cm. or inches, I'll say about a year for a short tail if your hair's fairly straight and you don't trim the side 'curtains'.

About a year and a half or 18 months of growing should be sufficient for a decent tail or great tail depending on what kind of hair you have.
