Just curious as to comments regarding one of the latest Jack in the Box commercials. I don't know how long it's been out. They are advertising the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. In the commercial, Jack sends this one guy to Philadelphia with the order to learn everything he can. He comes back after 6 months with about 2 years plus worth of hairgrowth...( a very stereotypical mullet from the 80s to boot)
It's a funny commercial, but what do you guys think? Is Jack making fun of us or just making fun? (I know...it's just make-believe..it's not really real.......LOL)

Maybe they're trying to say that you eat Jack (or go to Philadelphia), your hair will grow four times faster than normal! If that was true, I wonder how many folks would do one or both those things? LOL
I haven't seen it but if you check out the current issue of Esquire magazine (March 2003) there are guys all over it with long hair and they are definately not being made fun of.
Any idea where I can find the commercial on the web? I'd love to send it to friends from my former home of Philly. While the persona may be a bit exagerrated, I just love what the guy did with his hair, though I have to knock points off the commercial for the omission of the word "yous" when he asks the office assistant "How YOU doin'?" Any self-respecting South Philly Italian knows the "s" must be added to the pronoun...
