Hey guys I was wondering if any of you could enlighten me here. Okay I have growing for 7 months now (since August) and my bangs are 4.25" and are to the bridge of my nose. I was wondering if in about 6 months (this August) they would be to my chin or not? Generally how long is your hair at about the 1 year mark? If someone could help me out I'd appreciate it because I've been crunching numbers and it's getting me nowhere. Thanks.

to your 4.25 and that's what you will have minus any curling and curving.
ONE YEAR is a great milestone...
but you usually have to grow a bit longer to be a Longhair...
WILL it reach your chin? add the 3 inches to what you already have...
and see!
Good Luck!
..And yes that does reach my chin!

Why have you been trying to work it out? I don't mean to offend, as i've noticed alot of people here growing have an obsession with working out what length there hair will be in X years time (or the other way around), but why do you care? In 2months time, my hair will most likely be an inch longer than it is now. It won't suddenly go from being as it is now, to an inch longer, it will gradually get longer over that time period.
I don't see the point in setting a "mark", when you think your hair will be how you want it. As someone else has said before, you should try and enjoy your hair whatever the length, as you're growing it. It's human nature to look for something "better", and use that as an excuse to ignore the reality of the "now", but you should really try to focus on your hair as it is, and just learn to enjoy it. You won't notice your hair growing, you'll only remember how it looked several months ago. I don't know, but if i'd obsessed about how long my hair was, whilst i was growing it through the awkward stage, i probably would have given up.
For me, knowing that it will be longer in 6months time, is all i need to know :-)
is how long it will be.
Standard rule of thumb, Bri -- your hair grows 6 to 7 inches per year on average (although stress and what not can affect the fallout rate and 'appearance' of growth). Let me think -- I'd say in 6 months they'd be past your bottom lip but not the bottom of your chin.
