Don't mean to be stupid but I'm still relatively new in the last month or so! OK what real is an undercut? I keep hearing how bad they look. I may have an idea but just in cast could someone either post a picture or a link to a picture with an undercut?
They're kinda like the other extreme of a mullet. Long on top, shaved on the sides and a little in the back. Sorry don't have a picture to hand of anyone right now.

Oh how judgemental we all become.
It's not judgmental. It's like the mullet. Either have long hair or don't. Long hair with buzzed sides looks silly. It just does. I'm amazed that anyone would think it looks cool. It doesn't. Guys with undercuts looks like dorks...and that goes from RASSLERS (the fake wrestling WWE chumps) to wannabe rasslers. And once it's cut, it takes YEARS for it to grow back and catch up with the rest of the hair...if it ever does.

this is Korn, i think they were reasponsible for the undercut craze in the early 90s. alot of dreadlocks/braids here, but the guy in the middle is a good example of long hair with an undercut. not entirely awful, but not exactly "sexy"
What Korn really needs is an infusion of talent. They need that even more than they need real hair.
I've met the guys before, and they are very cool and very friendly. Nice guys. But their music isn't exactly awe inspiring by any means.
I don't like the hair of any band member in Korn.
Oh but I think you are. If someone has an undercut and really likes
the way they look and are very happy with the way their hair hangs and
looks tied back it seems to bug you no end. There are a whole lot of
people who think long hair of any kind is stupid and dorky. It should
be so a person can have his hair any way he wants. Also undercuts
serve a purpose other than just a "style".

It's long on top, short on sides. But it varies, I have one that is about an inch and a half all around the bottom edge, it's not really shaved but it's pretty short. I never tie my hair back so I could get a really extreme one and nobody would notice but if you tie it back you can usually see it on most people.
