Just been over to the Buzzboard, which kind of mirrors this site. The preoccupations are different, things like "my hair's been growing for eleven days, should I have it buzzed again yet?" and "Should flat-tops slope forwards, backwards or be level?"

Heh if you're going to shave your head I don't know why you would pay someone to do it. Take the razor you use to shave your face, move it up a few inches...

I can assure you I have no intention of shaving my head! I'm not giving up on 18 months' growth that easily!

It's supposed to be a website about haircuts, but it seems to have turned into a place to bash others who choose to think differently than them, rather than conform to society. I suggest staying away from there.
I'd been reading stuff over there for a while. Not sure why, really.
For a while I thought it was strangely funny to read the particularly rabid anti-hair posts that pop up occsionally. I guess I just needed my daily dose of nonsense. *g* Finally, I realized that I was really just wasting my time and deleted the bookmark. 'Course if you're having fun, by all means keep reading. At least some good will have come out of that board that way. ^_^

Just wanted to say that we're not all rabidly anti-hair over here. I think that some guys can wear long hair and not look gross. But anway I view the bashing that goes on sometimes on the BuzzBoard with the same amazement/disdain that you probably do.
Somebody posted over there about this board so that's the only reason I'm coming here to post. I may not care for long hair especially but "live and let live" is my policy and I think that many of the short-hair lovers feel the same way, they have been alienated by the board and quit reading it same as you so only the more fanatical have remained.
I might come back to read responses but I won't post again. But you will probably get visited by some less-than-tolerant souls in the near future due to the post over there.

have you noticed there's this ongoing warfare with spying and propaganda between the two boards
every once in a while someone there will post a photo from here and start a discussion thread ridiculing the person pictured... fantasizing forced cuts and the like. the buzzboard needs to be visited regularly. a few of the regulars there like to give opinions in the same sledgehammer style as someone here.
