I live in a fairly dry climate (Eastern Colorado). I also have very thick, just-barely-chin-lenghth hair that is also curly. My problem is that if I get it even a little damp, like if I sweat or it rains a little or something, it frizzes. A lot. I can keep it straight and fairly frizz free by using the hair dryer and it's straightening attatchment. However, this pulls and breaks the hair (I can feel it, adn sometimes it hurts.) I have tried to put it in a loose ponytail, and more recently a loose braid. but it still gets frizzy and this way, (I know this sounds crazy) it is dryer thatn when I dry it with the hair dryer. I also don't like gells and mousses and such. But sometimes, I don't feel like drying my hair and I don't like gells and mousses and such. I know I am impossible, but is there any help for me?
