I'm curious as to see what everyone thinks are essential tools for good hair care.
Good shampoo
Good conditioner
Good leave in conditioner
Comb
Paddle Brush
Round Brush (maybe?)
Some oil (Coconut, Jojoba)
Hair ties without the metal bits.
What would be on your list?

Hmm, good question.
Good, gentle shampoo
Detangling Comb
Long, Fine Toothed Comb
Paddle Brush
Good Hair Ties
Non essentials...
Bandana (when you're moving around in the summer)
Beanie (when you're moving around in the winter)
Think I want to start looking into using some hair oil.

Interesting post... Although I use brushes exclusively and forego combs completely. Also, I don't bother with oils or anything other than your standard shampoo and conditioner.
I agree with Resonance: A bandana and/or hat is a necessity, especially since my hair is not yet long enough that I can tie it back or have it stay out of my face when engaged in even moderate activity.
The only thing I would add to that list is some type of "Pomade" product.
