ok, i am a 16 yr old dude that wants to grow my hair out like the lead singer of incubus. theres a picture somewhere on this post. i don't know where the stuff goes when i put it under optional image. well, i need advice. its only been about a month since my last haircut. i need advice soon!! thanks

Comb it gently...treat it well and it may do

That one is easy, just let it grow for about six months without cutting...if you happen to have the exact same type of hair as the guy.
But why do you want to look like someone else?
Here we encourage people to grow their hair for themselves, see what it looks like further down the road and then work with it as their hair calls for it.
Most people don't really know what their hair will be like as it gets longer so your specific example of what you want it to look like doesn't mean too much but seems to say that you want long hair because someone you like has it.
Just some food for thought as you probably haven't seriously considered what growing long hair involves being just 16 and all.
Lots of guys here will give you more stuff to ponder as you grow your protein strands so that you are sure that you are making the best choice for yourself in regards to the long term decision of long hair growth.
