Hey, I'm just here to complain tonight. Basically, my hair's gotten to the point where it can get in my eyes, but it's not long enough to put behind my ears. Oh well, it's progress I suppose. I'll try getting a new picture up soon, 'cause I know you've all been looking forward to it *so* very much.
Hey, every milestone helps, right?! :)
I'm there too. 8 *** **** months..and its only past my eyes..but the bangs can be pulled down to the tip of my nose. Pulled. I don't ever want to hear anyone with straight hair complain.
Sounds like you and I are at exactly the same point, w/ the same hair type. Have any pictures to post? It'd be interesting to see if our hair develops the same way over time.
With Pleasure comes Pain...
Did you experience of your hair getting INto your eyes, yet?
I am also going through the hair-eyeball-contact (HEC) stage myself. I have been in this stage for about a month. I didn't gel at all yesterday and spent the entire day pushing hair out of my eyes. I am surprised at how long it has taken to get past this stage. At the rate of 1/2 inch per month I would expect my hair to literally grow past my eyes within a month, but my hair is not cooperating. It is developing lovely waves at the front that work to keep the hair tips at a constant eye-poking range. Oh well, HEC is just a stage and my hair is growing well overall.
Wait until the first time you suck it up your nose on accident....
Or, if you're like me, until you suck it down your throat during a workout and nearly kill yourself. Nevermind the pileup I caused on the track.
Yes, that is the most annoying phase...whenever I'm told "if you cut it all off it'll grow back" I just remember how annoying that part was and how I'd never want to go through it again. Just keep that pot-of-gold-at-the-end-of-the tunnel in mind!
