Hey everyone,
I attended the 21st. annual NY Renaissance Faire today. This troupe performs in several US cities every year.
I find this to be a great place to view men's longhair styles. I spoke with quite a few guys and collected their advice.
I was sure that it was a mute point, but I even had my "growing out" hair braided here.... Definately worth it.
I have visted the renfair four times since last year, it has been an inspiriation to grow my hair, it has even begun to persuade me to the goth...... Take a look, and if you go, have fun.

I couldn't agree with you more. I attended the Northern California Ren-Faire this past Labor Day weekend and I was just admiring all the beautiful long-haired men there. Especially, the Scotsmen, ooh yeah. I also want to share that I was at the ATM machine and there was an older man who had the most beautiful hair. It was silver and very thick falling past his mid-back. I wanted so much to say something to him, but he was speaking to another man and I didn't want to interrupt. Actually, I was too shy to say something, so if he happens to be a member of this board, I want him to know I was loving to give that hair a good brushing.
Oh well, there's a pirate festival this coming weekend, guess I'll go there. Hey Victor, wouldn't it be a great idea to have some cards printed up advertising this site, I would be more than happy to pass them out, I wouldn't be so shy then. =o)

Yes it would. I've actually been planning to make some up. If anyone has any ideas or would like to do a design, I'd be happy to print some up. In fact, let's make this a contest, shall we? I'm not quite sure what the prize will be, but let's have a contest for the best card design. All submissions will be posted to a card-design page. After a deadline (shall we say October 1), everyone is to vote by sending me an email stating your vote.
For now, I open the thread to discussion on what should be included on the card. By this weekend I will post the official rules and dates.

I'm in the North Bay, too. Missed the Ren Faire this year - oh well..
Interested in knowing where the pirate festival is this weekend!

It's not really a pirate faire per se, but its the Festival of the Tallships down in Dana Point. I have some friends that have a couple of pirate encampments and a few others who just dress up and go, including myself. The festival is really nice where they go out on the ship and have a mock battle.
