ok, Friday in the UK is Comic relief... and I want to spike up my longish hair, it is around about 6 inches long. I have tryed alot of things to hold the spikes but the oly one that works so far is this hair wax called "dax" I tryed to spike up one area and it worked fine, nothing will let it get knocked down... the only thing I am worried about is getting it out... I just showered and my hair is flat again, but its still waxy from the Dax... Does anyone know if this stuff or anything similar comes out or if it is safe to go ahead with the spikes without ruining my hair and having to cut it off...?

wax IS SAFE, just the equivalant of getting motor oil out of your hair. Be gentle taking it out, no vigorous rubbing. Often, wax never comes out after ONE WASH, it takes repeated washings. Use it as much as you want, just be gentle taking it out at night. I reiterate, be gentle washing it out.
