should a guy wear his hair in his face ?
My wife likes my long blond hair, bob style, chin length. I wear this style since 2 years now and I think it's time to change my style. Two years ago my wife asked me to grow my hair long and she told me that long hair on a guy is ok if hair and style is neat and proper. So we decided that I should get a bob style not to long, chin length and chin length for my bangs as well(even the bangs are a little longer).
In the early days of my bob I was very unsafe owing my style.
Essential part for my uncertainty was that my hair endless fall into my face but in the meantime this feeling is usual for me. More than that, I decided to let my hair grow to shoulder length and wear my bangs always into my face (one half) so normally the half of my face is coverd with my hair.
In the opinion of my wife this style is to feminine to wear in public but she loves this style.
What do you think, ist this long bob with bangs into my face to feminine?
Should I wear such a style in public?
What could give my wife more certainty?
Is there someone else with this style?
mike,
The man's face and general body shape also has a lot to do with how 'feminine' he looks with a particular hair style. You might want to consider adding a little facial hair. Sideburns and/or a moustache can go a long way to adding a more masculine look!
Also, wearing more masculine clothing makes a big difference
too. Depending on your situation, this might mean wearing a tie
(definitely something only men normally wear) or blue jeans (more common on men) or something khaki (military look).

Hi Mike,
I am at an awkward phase of growing my hair out. Since I have always had short hair - I am getting a lot of comments from friends, family and even the general person on the street.
Here is my philosophy.......
This is YOUR hair. Do with it what YOU want. If someone has a problem with it, just politely suggest that they not choose this style for their own hair. I have tried this and usually it works. I have a a friend or two that have persisted..... when they did, I responded by saying "well, if you don't like my hair, then you're REALLY not gonna like me nipple ring...." THAT one always works like a charm :)
Humor aside, Mike, it is YOUR hair. Who cares what everybody else thinks... If YOU like it, do it. Your wife might like it too, but she'll never know until you try.
Good Luck
Hi, Mike.
If I am not mistaken, you wrote in several months ago with a post called "Bob Style--I like it now!"? Is that right?
I have worn a similar style for many years, though not usually hanging in my face. I have also let it grow longer than usual and like it that way, though I'm not sure it looks best at shoulder length. I would like to correspond to you about this. Please e-mail me and we'll talk. If my address does not show up, I'll post again.
relax why are ypu so worrid about your hair and what people think about it every ones hair is good in its own way, personaly i wear my hair like haeven [a bowl cut thatsout grown its self into the 70s ]
so maybe we have similar style but part of wearing your hair i n your face in not caring that its in your face, its not femine, or mabey it is ......i thiink it depends on what your general style is ..which can determine how your hair is intrpreted. it might feel wird at first but everthimg feels wierd at first, hair in your face can[a].frame your face, high light features and hide a big forehead
