I was considering one of the high priced dryers, the ones that claim less frizz,smoother hair,ceramic heating,ions for shine."Farouk" was the name brand, it was about $90 on ebay. Does anyone have any experience with this type of stuff?

As far as I can tell, hot air is hot air no matter what it comes out of. Hair dryers, the people who sell them, etc...

Try an ionic one. There is a bunch of them on Ebay for about $20.
That wasn't an attempt at an obscene title, not sure where the "ht" came from.
What's the deal with that particular type of dryer?
Well, in short, by positivly charging the air that blows through it's supposed to dry your hair better with less heat damage and even fluff things up a bit.
I haven't used a blow dryer in years but I'm going to try one of these.
