Woo hoo! My mother defended my long hair today. I'm at the nine month mark. For the past few months she made all the typical comments such as "when are you getting your hair cut?", "you are covering up your face", "my stylist could fix your hair if you just let him". I'm an adult (forty) so I can ignore comments but my mother's negative opinions still sting. Today a relative was giving me a hard time about my hair (told me to put my hat back on) and my mother came to my defense "his hair is just fine, he is growing it out". Amazing.
And you!
he..he...that's great!
Hi mates! That's good that your mother backed you up re: your long(ish) hair you are growing out. I don't have my Mother here anymore but I know she is in a better place and happy now. Be grateful for your Mum is still here and don't stop appreciating her. Mothers are really beautiful and are to be forever cherished for that beauty they embody.
Hah! I guess it only took 30 years, no?
Cheers.
