Hey all. I'm starting to grow my hair out. It's about 3 inches on top right now. My question is, the back of my neck is starting to get that scraggly look to it. It's not mullet-like yet but everyone tells me to shape it up. If I round the back of my neck, will it interfear with the final outcome?
I need to know because I have a few weddings to goto in the next few months. ;)

Is there some manditory dress code that you have no choice but to conform to?
If not and it's just the opinions of some people then don't give it a second thought. You have to have patience to get through a few initial stages of hair growth (without cutting...the top too). It will definately be different from the short hair that you are used to.
Unless you are the star of the show at the weddings and for some reason HAVE to have hair of a particular look (even though most of the other people there won't have it either) then don't worry about it. Not everyone will be looking at you and for those who are so concerned about YOUR look, maybe they should be worried about other things.
You need to be patient. You won't have a mullet going in the back for a good 8-9 months anyhow.
