my hair is straight but i want it straighter, i have a lot of frizz at the back. is this normal? the top of hair is straight but the back is full of frizz? can i tame frizz with a blowdryer? i'm afraid of the blowdryer cause it damaged my hair last month.
i've used planty of products but nothing works, how can i get rid of frizz?
i've used zero frizz shampoo and zero frizz deep conditioner, loreal mousse sculpting hair for straighter hair.
It's called hair "bigness". Its when the roots at the lower top/back of your head aren't long enough to be weighed down, thus, they curl and frizz until they can be weighed down. Straightening it with product might help for a short amount of time, but eventually you will take a shower and after your hair air dries it will be right back to where it was. Just grin and bear it. Heh.

Buy a hot iron. I got mine on ebay, it was about $80 but it was well worth it. After blow drying, just run the iron through your hair a few times & it's silky smooth & stays that way all day.
"Hai" is the brand name i bought.
Besides the iron idea, do you know any other ways to get rid of frizz? I've tried just about every product they make for anti-frizz and absolutely none of them work. It get's frustrating!!!
try to wash hair only 3 times a week, use leave-in conditioner on days that you don't wash the hair, take multivitamins and apply antifrizz mousse for straighter hair (i use lòreal extreme straight)
go to longhair.org this site is helpful
Make sure that when you brush through the back you aren't ripping through it. Carefully work out any tangles. Frizz can be an indicator of damage too.
Use a laminate. It keeps the frizzies down.
I have hair that is prone to frizz. Actually I am unable to wear it loose as it just flairs out of control. What is a laminate? I have tried such things as silicon but that tends to make it worse. I have stopped using conditioner because that really frizzed my hair out of control.
I do have particularly wavy hair but there must be some hints that will help.
I have taken to putting plain moisturizer through my hair in the morning so the frizz is minimal when tied back.
any suggestions would be grateful
Go to a salon and ask them if they can demonstrate a laminate on your hair. There are silicon and non-silicon versions. It may be referred to as a polish too. It's a product that lightly coats your hair and keep the damage or frizz from different lengths of hair strands from showing so much (you don't use much at all).
Conditioner is not supposed to make your hair frizzy, what kind do you use?
If you have hair that has a genetic characteristic that makes it behave badly then there isn't always much that you can do but there are some guys on this board who also have difficult hair types and can give you a few ideas.
