Well I said I would, and I did. I cut off a year and a half of growth and now it's really short (not buzzed, about an inch I guess). I'm really happy with the results. The only con is well... no long hair but the pros are many so overall I don't regret it. So anyway, I'll still be here for a few days to check any replies to this post if anyone has a ? or whatever, but after that I'm gone. Nice talkin to you guys.
oh well, as long as you're happy, by any chance, do you have a pic of the growth, or a picture that gives the idea?

LOL! J/K!
Would love to see "before and after" pics! How does it look? You say an inch...so does it stand straight up? Bet it feels funny!
I said it a 1000 times...
you have to follow your feelings & instincts.
Being a Longhair comes from somewhere DEEP within...
If that 'spiritual source' is not there
maybe you were not meant to have long hair...
which is perfectly OK!
I do have before and after pics on my comp., I don't know much about posing pics but if anyone would post them for me then that would work. It didn't really feel that much different until I showered, then it was one of those "WHOA" moments. I will probably try growing it back out when I'm older (much older) but only if it starts to thin.
I can put them onto a geocities webpage for you, just email them to me on PXWLL@AOL.COM (exactly as its spelt) and I will post them for you.
If ya want ;)
That's cool. I'm glad you're happy with the results. Long Hair's not for everyone I guess. I used to think it wasn't for me when I started growing it and just couldn't get it to look nice but finally after several years I began to find some methods in taking care of it that were really sucessful and now I love it!
See ya', wouldn't want to be ya'!
You don't have to leave this hyperboard or forget your friends here just because you cut your hair. The heart is more important then hair.
You can always grow your hair back but it's hard to replace friends.
