Alright, this is no doubt lame as far as jokes go, but anyway, the summer of 2002 was hell for me to endure, not only because there various factors that I'd rather not get into at the moment, but also since that was the time I began to enter the initial phases of the awkward stage. It's one thing to feel uncomfortable in extreme heat, but to have unmanagable hair on top of that made things rather frustrating.
Anyway, here's the photo's caption: How to survive a summer of endless smog, High UV indexes, +40 Degree temperature (That's celcius), and hair that's even more awkward than all of those conditions combined! Note that the photo truly was taken at about the 5th-6th month of growth.

Hmmm... That's odd. I'm having no difficulty viewing the pic when I look at my post... Then again, that might have something to do with cache settings, seeing as how I was, after all, the one who posted that very picture.
Anyway, try the URL. Should that not work, the joke of it all (how I survived a terrible summer WITH awkward hair) is portrayed in a photograph of me downing an alcoholic beveridge. Yes, sedate yourself with booze and you won't even be able to tell good hair and bad hair apart (Remember, "No tv and no beer make Homer something something...")!
And no, that post was not made solely with the intent of advocating booze. It was (1) a joke, and (2) a way for me to illustrate what my hair looked like when it began the initial phases of the awkward stage (In a terribly humid, prolonged, and generally uncomfortable summer, mind you!).

Ha ha ha ... I'm having many of those these days because 1) I'm on vacation 2) I'm in the caribbean for a couple of weeks and it's kind of hot down here 3) I just got out of the awkward phase so I have a good reason to celebrate!
