Hi,
Im 16 years old and have been growing my hair for a year. I got an undercut shaved. its the type of undercut thats only shaved at the sides but the top is left. I kinda regret getting an undercut and ive been over thinking that if i should shave my head and start from scratch. I also talked to my friend about growing it out, im not sure how many months it could take ta grow it out. Ive started growing out my undercut around march. Is it true that my undercut would soon be equal with the top part of my hair?
it would mean a lot ta me if ya answer my question..
thx a lot and have a good day :c)
hair grows an average of ½ inch per month. let the top grow out with the rest. cut it to even up in a couple years. good luck.
If you really want to have long hair, let it all grow uncut for at
least a couple of years. I started keeping the front and sides
short, back long, and I think my hair slowed its growth in back
waiting for the rest to catch up. But now, it's mostly evened out
and finally down to my tits.
Don't worry about starting out even. It will take care of itself,
as long as you don't panic. Check how much longer it is every
four months or so, and once you start wearing a ponytail, stick
with it when the shorter back hairs stick out. They'll even out
eventually if you don't let a stylist mess with it. (Might look
better for awhile, but will require keeping up that style,
rather than letting it all go and getting it past your shoulders
so it will be easier to tie back, braid, or do whatever you want. . .
Have fun!

Got the same problem...had 2" past-shoulders hair...cut it into a mowhawk...left the middle alone, but shaved (yes, w/ a razor) the sides...now I'm growing it back out. see my 'help: Need tips about faster hair growth' post for the only advice I can offer you.
mowhawks are cool! dont grow it out buddy!
