I am a 19 year-old university student and I would really like to have long hair and see how it suits me. I have really thick brown hair and it is probably what you would call very healthy. Right now it is about an inch long. I was wondering if there was anything I could do (other than just waiting for two years for it to get to my shoulders on it's own) that would help my hair grow faster. I appreciate any advice. Thanks.
sorry- but you'll have to be patient. human hair averages about ½ inch growth per month. if you have curly hair, it'll take even more time for length to be apparent. i understand your impatience, but there's little one can do to alter the growth rate of one's hair.

..short of tweaking one's genes to make it grow faster, if one
can do it, that is...
