I'm a young french-italian skateboarder dude who live in Paris.
I have dreadlocks, brown long hair and hazel eyes.
I'm gay but where I live all the gay kids look the same (short hair and stereotyped).
I'd love to correspond (and maybe meet) with some dudes arround my age who also have long hair and are not stereotype.
I feel kinda lonely and I don't want to end up shaving my hair, so please :

gay men with long, sexy locks.
These fashions seem to come and go.
But if you are attracted to guys with long hair, you'll find them.
And if you like long hair on yourself,
it won't make you feel better if you cut it off.

Don't shave your head or get rid of the dreads. I think that dreads are one of the sexiest hair styles. Unfortunately, many of the gay kids do look the same even in the states. Don't get too frustrated you have my support. :-)
Keep them, you are not alone. I love the hairstyle too, and agree how eveyone looks the same. Do as you wish, not as you stereotypically should be.

dude,i'm not gay , but i've had 3 sets of dreads. i'mgrowing my next set out right now . i wouldn't pay attention to what everyone else thinks or how they look.the cool thing about dreads is that they're unique.don't ever cut 'em,unless you're gonna get fatter ones.

Hey there guys,
I'm an asain male that just got a dread perm about 2 weeks ago. I had to due to the straight fine hair that I had. Well after the perm and the twisting and backcombing the salon guy told me to use beeswax, which unfortunately I did, now that i'm discontinuing them and going to use other products, i'm having the problem of my roots. My hair is all twisted up good, except for about a 1/2 inch from my scalp which is straight hair. What can I do to remedy this? Am I too tie the roots up with a rubber band or string or whatnot? or just twist it all and then rub say, gel or pommade into the roots? can someone advise me please on what should be done. Thanks again.

don't worry about the roots...they'll dread if you leave them alone.

do not feel alone my friend dont shave your head and remember that every person with some feeling is able to understand that is really difficoult to be in a minorance.i live in a place where a feel a minorance just because i look different from all the others(i look like a sk8er in a world of well dressed,nice smelling nose-up fucking people)so do not mind push your sk8 and fuck the rest
