Someone recently cut my hair so that it is now a bit longer on the top and sides than it is in the lower back. Will it grow back to an all one length look properly or do I need to tell the hairdresser something in particular the next time I go for a trim to ensure that it grows back properly? I suppose it's better than having it shorter on top and longer in the back like a mullet which I don't want but I just want to make sure it grows back to an even all one length style.
you will have to keep cutting the top as the back and sides grow with it untill its all even, its the downside of an undercut
I have been cutting hair for years and one thing I do know is that after you have a few inches cut and you want to maintain a look or even re-establish a new look for your hair you need to get a shorter trim every 6 weeks....say you cut 4 inches or more, you'll need to have at least but not much more than 1/4 inch cut every 6 weeks to halp the growing of healthy hair.
Well, that's my advice for what it's worth...hope it helps...
