I have long hair (waist length) but i've often
wondered do people on this board actually wear
skirts (kilts?)
I've had long hair for many years but
i've never had the nerve to actually
try either a skirt or a kilt.
Ths closest i've ever come is to
wear a t-shirt or xlarge sweat shirt
that comes down to my knees.
If you do wear a skirt/kilt do you actually
wear it to work, to the local bar,
or anywhere else in public?
Haven't done anything like that yet, although I have given some thought to it. If I can find one at a decent enough price, I might give it a try someday (All my pairs of shorts are falling apart anyway).
Jerry, I wear a tartan kilt pretty much every day. And also have skirted from time to time, but, usually wear the kilt, since it's a more accepted attire.

I was wonder when kilts would come back up, it's been awhile.
Here's an interesting site that might have more answers to your questions: www.imff.net - International Men's Fashion Freedom.
I've worn kilts to places where kilts were expected, like highland games, and celtic heritage festivals. I have also worn kilts to other places just around town doing chores and stuff. I frequently go to the move theater kilted because it's much more confortable, and I've been out shopping frequently kilted, along with other events. Kilts are also great for hiking or anytime you are in for a long walk.
I also like wearing a sarong while hanging out around the beach, and water becaue they are so confortable, and easy to put on
The closest i've ever come to wearing a skirt
is wearing my 50" wide leg JNCOs which which
some have compared to "flowing like a skirt."
Also i've worn some long shirts that come down to
bellow the knee.
