They do pirate shirts in either cotton or velvet... as well as more elaborate Byron shirts. The waistcoat is a hip length brocade style - as in Regency/Georgian. Maybe not that far out of date Mark! I think your look is very cool and reminds me of how i tried to dress in the early 80's, Ahh yes we were called New Romantics.!!! remember, Adam And The Ants, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, Visage, and Was Not Was. David Bowie, Bryan Ferry and Boy George were all influential singers of the era.
