ok so everytime i post my progress updates my hair is never in its every day position...
so i figured i would take a pic of how my hair usually looks when im at work and such. its a real mess but well i guess thats the awkward stage for you.... only another year to go i guess.
Looks ok to me, I have this problem when at school with the wind and stuff.. kinda sucks but thats life
Hey.............it really looks great! We are ALWAYS our own worst critics of ourselves. You have something in mind for your hair......but anyone else who sees you just sees you "as-is." I certainly wouldn't be too self concious about it, but that is only me. Balance, facial shape etc. ALL play a role in what an "Awkward Stage" looks like. I think you are pulling it off with great success. Good luck, and keep it growing. :-)
Justin's right, no one else is EXPECTING our hair to be a certain way, we just cant see that.
I think your hair really suits you. I wouldn't worry about it looking messy. In my opinion it looks better a bit messy than with every hair perfectly in place! (Maybe I'm biased because I have the same "problem" waviness/curling as you!)
I shouldn't worry about it. I always manage to look a bit windswept - it goes with the territory. I tie it back for work, but still manage to look a bit, well, dragged through a hedge... :-D
I wish I could grow sideburns like yours!
They need regular trimming to keep them in check, though...
Back in the seventies when I first started shaving, I grew them like Elvis - remember those? :-D
Ahh, another picture that makes me wish I could grow facial hair!
Actually it looks natural and free on you...
Looks fine, clarko. It'll soon be weighing itself down so, for now, enjoy being in the stage that'll make you smile when you look back in a few months time!
Honestly, don't worry, you look great. With the goatee happening and the piercing, you look awesome. What you young guys need to realize is that you can get away with unconventional looks more easily than someone in his thirties. In fact it's expected of you to experiment. Have patience. You will get there.
