I couldn't believe my eyes on Raw last night as Christian came out sporting short hair. It looks horrible on him as he is one of the smaller guys in the WWE. The funny thing is his hair looks exactly like Test's now...which isn't a good thing. One thing that really pissed me off was how Jericho(the only guy with mid back hair in the WWE) stood there and told Christian how good it looked. Looks like Mr. Jericho will be next in line for a haircut. I was also pissed off at how Jim Ross kept mentioning how it was a "improvement". Maybe J.R. is the true long hair hater in the WWE. I'm not a big Christian fan, and his new gimmick is just what the WWE wants. To quote Raven on a recent radio show, "The WWE wants everyone to be like the Rock." Christian = short hair, fancy clothes, and a sad attempt to come up with catch phrases. Can the WWE do anything original these days? It's like you're either a ego maniac or a angry bad ass. That's my rant for today.

He finally gave in eh? That's sad after all the fuss they raised about it in the first place. You got a picture?
Eugh.
Looks like Christain is the latest victim of the the WWE Empire. It wouldn't suprise me if Jim Ross was involved in the decision. How can anyone say that it is an improvement?
I'm probably gonna get blasted for this, but I think he does look better with short hair, even if it makes him look like a tiny little Test. His hair always struck me as stringy, and I thought he looked really funny. (Although his in-ring attire was probably more to blame for that.) But still, I don't think he should have cut it if he didn't want to.
It's great to see a good amount of people on this board agreeing that Christian shouldn't have cut his hair. If one more haircut occurs I think we should start a petition on this board and send it to the WWE. I doubt that they will listen but it's worth a try.
I don't think ANY of you would turn down such a high paying job to not cut your hair...Or maybe you would. But don't tell it wouldn't be easy turning down millions of dollars for not cutting your hair.
He deserves it big time.
Christian looks better like that.
I mean he looked good anyway and I think his hair looks even better short, maybe it'll be anew trend for other WWE superstars.
If Christian (William Jason Reso) prefers to have his hair short then it' his decision and I also think it's a improvement so don't start offnding his hair cos it looks good!
UGH! It looks like the Mean Street Possie is about to reform by the way so many wrestlers are turning to such preppie cuts.
The WWE or any other popular TV attractions should not in any way influence our decision to grow long hair. We just love long hair and that`s it, no matter what Christian, Jericho or I dont know who looks like.
I haven't watched that wrestling since...hmmm...been a while.
When I watched there were men with long hair. I'll remember it that way and never watch again.
At least we still have kevin nash to drool over,he's the sexiest wrestler in my opinion.
You shouldn't be suprised, wrestlers don't "try" and grow their hair with the goal of having long hair. That's why any attempts don't really get past the mullet and then eventually get hacked off. If there is an attempt to grow it to enhance the "story" line then it's purely for the attention/ratings/money. Poor examples to set your goals by if you are really trying to grow your hair long.
No wonder the new mullet tv show has mulletheads loving wrestling, you'll probably see lots of guest appearances by mullethead wrestlers.
Thanks for your post, Carlos. I echo many of your statements (In my opinion, Christian's sucked since his partnership with Edge broke up), particularly when it comes to JR. I HATE JR because one of the most biased commentators that wrestling has ever had, not just for swaying the audience's opinion in favour/against a wrestler's character, but also for his attitute toward long-haired males. Of all the people to critice others for the way they look, JR should be one of the last to speak, as he is a repugnant, pudgy dork of a redneck.
I've spoken on the matter before (I think it was Re: Test), so I'll shut up now.
I should mention that when I said that JR is nutorious for the audience's opinion in favour/against a wrestler's character, I said that with the realization that wrestling is very controlled and JR is trying to "develop" wrestling characters and personas by tricking the audience into thinking a particular way about them. Yes, biased commentators are not uncommon in wrestling, but at least guys like Bobby Heenan, Jessie Ventura, and Gorilla Monsoon weren't quite so blatantly biased (Or when they were, it was for humor's sake). Back in the day (Before ranting about "Puppies!" became the focus of his attention), Jerry "The King" Lawler used to be terribly partial to WWF heels, but unlike JR (Who tries to come off as neutral and is - strangely - praised as one of wrestling's best commentators), Lawler's bias was apparent to the point of being satirical.
In my opinion, wrestling's best colour commentators came from ECW. Joey Styles was simply amazing, and unlike JR, he actually covered things as they were in a neutral fashion and didn't twist things around. True, when ECW began to mock "The Network" (TNN), Styles would cry out in disgust when its members would launch attacks on ECW devotees like Tommy Dreamer and Raven, but even then, he'd account for the actual moves and techniques that they used in a very neutral and unbiased manner. Joel Gertner, ECW's other commentator, came more from the Bobby Heenan school of journalism. Cyrus, of course, took the Jerry Lawler approach to promoting heels (IE - the TNN Network) over faces, AND YET, they both he and Cyrus would account for the moves and technique employed by wrestlers with very neutral language.
I recognize none of these names.
I long for the days when wrestling had lots of
guys with nice long hair and also had some interesting
story lines.
I think Christians hair looks good on him and if you would take time to read stuff on WWE.com or anywhere else and get your facts, you would know Christian wanted to cut his hair becaue it gets in his way and the WWE did not tell him to and he was not trying to look like The Rock. I think your only one of few people who dislike Christians new hair. I also think just because you dislike Christian that doesn't mean you should hate everything about him and give him some credit and you shouldn't get angry with people like J.R. who think it is an improvement because I also think it is an improvment and I like Cristian and his new look he looks a lot better.
Ashley
I think he looks good. He looks Better then when he had long hair. Question? If you don't like Christian then why are complaining about his hair do? With People that I hate I would care less. But As I was Saying there are some guys that look good with long and there are some guys that can't. And even though I thought Christian look ok with long hair I think he looks better now.
I was pissed when I saw his hair, it looks ok. But He looked better with long hair.
