kinda off topic.....i once put bees wax in my hair..worst thing i ever done
Bees wax?! What possessed you to do that? And I thought mine was bad. I once mixed vinegar and a scrambled egg. I heard vinegar was good for making your hair redder and eggs were good protein so I'd try both at once. Problem was I didn't look at the concoction before I dumped it on my head and it had turned into this sticky mess that took me a half hour to rinse out.
"Bees wax?! What possessed you to do that?" I was about 12 or so and heavy into the band KoRn...I had hair to my nose and my friend said thats how you get dread locks....damn it took at least a month for it to come out....ill never do it again.
Jojoba Oil. Smells AWFUL. I've got a whole bottle of it I never use. Takes like three showers to rinse out. Yuck.

The WORST? . . . TEA TREE OIL . . .
smells like an old machine or crap...take your pick...
still makes me SICK!
Aussie make a leave in conditioner that contains tea tree oil. I have been using it for a while and I like what it does for my hair. It doesn't smell bad either, I'm sure that there are other things in it that mask the smell of the tea tree oil though. I have never smelled just pure tea tree oil so I wouldn't know.
You are correct...Aussie must do something to mask the smell...
Thank God!
Suave shampoo -- hands down the worst shampoo ever made (IMO). My hair is gradually recovering from the destruction and actually growing again.
Thats what I'm using. Maybe thats why my hair seems to grow so slow?
So what shampoo are you using now?
Yes, it dried my hair really badly -- which led to a lot of split-ends. It may have had something to do with the poor quality water I have. Of course, your hair may respond differently than mine. My hair is very thick and tends to be dry [already].
I'm currently using Pantene, but will get Aussie products soon as I'm out of Pantene. I've used Aussie stuff before -- I think it's great.
My hair doesn't care much for Suave...
Thanks! I currently use the Aussie 3 minute repair conditioner so
maybe I'll try some of their shampoo if the have it. I'd love to get
a few more inches if i can.
I never got into trying bizarre products but in terms of regular stuff like shampoo and conditioner I'd say that I found Mane & Tail shampoo to be about the worst stuff in my hair. I guess it works fine for horses but it actually tangled my hair when I washed with it (strips or dries it out).
