Hi there, fellow long/wannabe longhairs! I have been lurking for a few months now since I have decided to grow my hair. It has been around 4 months at a push, maybe 3 since my last haircut, although I did have it trimmed to level it out once (yes, yes a bad move, I know! It wont happen again for a long while!). I think I am entering the awkward stage but so far so good.
Thanks to all you guys and gals that post here, as I dont think I would even have made it this far without you! Everytime I feel the need for a trim I just log on to here to get some inderect support by reading others experiences and checking out their pictures etc..
I am determined to get my hair to my shoulders at least, all over. However my initial aim is to get my "bangs" to the end of my nose as that is the longest my hair has ever been!
Unfortunately I dont have any proper progress pics yet, but on my bands website there are some general pics of my from our last gig on Saturday night. I dont know how to get the pictures to show up here so if you go to http://www.elementonline.vze.com and go to the pics page, then click on "New Brighton Gig 2003" then you will see a list of pics. I am in any pictures where the description includes "Gaz" or "Me". I am the only blonde band member so It should be obvious who I am. Feel free to have a look and it might even increase our abysmal hits counter a little!
Cheers people :-)
You said you were the only blond band member, so I spotted you right off.
Nice hair...shiny...healthy...and it seems as though you
might actually have a not-so-bad awkward phase as your hair does
not seem curly.
You mentioned that growing your bangs down to your nose is the longest
that you've ever had it? Well, then the entire growing period will be
one of discovery & learning!
Good Luck, then!
Thanks! Yes you are correct, my hair is pretty straight, it has a slight wave but that doesnt really matter to me as I favour the "messy look" at the moment.
I am looking forward to reaching each milestone along the way, and intend to enjoy it all without letting "bad hair days" etc getting on my nerves!
