I just want to give my support to all the men who decide to wear their hair long. I've always thought that is very nice, but at this time very very few men has long hair (here in Norway at least). So for all of you who do - IT'S GREAT!! I remember when I was a kid, I always said I was gonna marry a man with long hair. I still (secretly) keep that dream, but still the personality counts most....Anyway, my support to all of you!!

Thanks, Lizz. As a whole, the developed world tends to follow fashion gurus, whether hair or clothing, like unthinking sheep (I take that back. I think some sheep *do* think.). It's trend following because someone somewhere of some prominence declares that it's the thing to do. One thing I've always liked about Europe, at least until now, was the tendency to do what was reasonable, or rational in the mind of the doer. This is especially true in mechanical engineering, where there are so many very distinctive individual designs, and form follows function. Granted, long hair is a non-rational decision of the person wearing it; he or she likes wearing it, and that's that. Now, even in Europe, keeping up with a fashion trend seems much easier than doing what one wants with one's own life. "Keep peace in the family! Don't rock the boat", go the sayings. So now, I suppose there are just a few clusters in places like California or New England where male long hair has taken stubborn root, and may point the way eventually to a return for male ... and female, I might add ... EXTRA, LONG, hair, and some nice neat styles to go with it!!

I will always support men having long hair. I am a musician and went to U Lowell, MA and Berklee College of Music and I have always found men with long hair extremely sexy. My boyfriend and I live together and he has the most beautiful hair I have seen(not to mention he is very good looking and a wonderfully suportive partner). I have always been surrounded by musicians for as long as I can remember and hair comes with the package(I'm happy to say). The way people present themselves shows their inner self and their personality-I know more men with long hair then with short hair. Guys--keep your hair growing and know that there are many women out there who find you sexy. Thanks for the many years of admiring beauty.
