Well, I just wanted to share a story that changed my life ;)
I was passing by my parents house. When mom saw me, her first reaction was "god! your hair is so dirty!". She was obviously right.I had not washed it for a week, I went to a concert the day before, an horror indeed.
So I washed it, and then I borrowed her hair drier.God! What the hell is this feeling?! It was blowing COLD air! Some would call me backwards, but actually I didn't know such a stuff existed.
And that's how the "hair-drier blowing cold air" changed my life. I got rid of this fried chicken smell I used to get when drying my hair before(perhaps I exaggerate a lill'). But the greatest part is that my wavy hair is easier to manage (I forgot to mention I've just entered the awkward stage, *yeeha*).
Wash+condition+cold air, here's my new way of life:)
It's like letting your hair dry naturally, in 2 minutes.
Basically when I walk down the street I have both fresh hair and fresh air. Who would ask for more?

GREAT SUGGESTIONS!☺
& Good Luck!
There are actually hair dryers with both hot and cold settings, just in case you want to shop around and get your own.
If anyone one is wary about drying with hot air because too much hot-air drying can damage your hair, then using the cool-air setting is the perfect alternative.
It's also true that drying your hair more quickly with a dryer will help to lessen the curling that can happen with some hair types. At least that's been my experience.

Yes, the cold air setting is a godsend. It's much better for your hair, and gives you the option of blow drying without damage.
