All this discussion of people with thick hair has inspired me to document what my growth was like. As you can see, I have thick hair. Also, because it is graying, it is even more unruly than it used to be. The awkward stage was awful! But as you can see, as time went by, it became more tame and I am pleased with it. Let me know what you think.

Your definitely the kind of person who should have long hair. Absolutely fantastic. You looked more 'distinguished' with the long hair. Im sure you stand out from the crowds ALOT easier now. :) Looks awesome.

What do I think? I think I love your hair! It's only getting better from here. I hope this encourages some of those who were contemplating cutting. It WILL happen if you let it! :-D

I did do a minor trim between the Dec 2002 pic and the April 2003 pic. All I did was cut off the "point" in the back and create a straight line. It did help my ponytail become more manageable.

Jeez, your hair sure grows fast. It must be sprouting a lot faster than the average person's 1/2 inch per month!
Probably true...I suspect my rate is closer to 3/4" per month. Guess that means I was born to have long hair, right?
