After much thinking, slapping sense into me with a spoon i've decided to stick with my hair, but i reached a comprimise with myself, im gonna get a trim. I am very aware of what people think of me and this is the reason for low self esteem, not my hair, looking back i've realised ive never been outrageously confident. IM STILL HERE MY HAIR IS STILL LONG,
I think i might have to post some pics, when i get around my self esteem thing. lol
Just to get a rough idea, how many people here are from UK, i went to a gig at the boderline in London and was amazed at the number of longhairs, i felt part of the majority for once and got the sense that the shorthairs were jealous, it was a brilliant feeling, this happend to anyone else?

Glad you decided to stick with it, we are the worst judges of ourselves, and people who are not faced with longhaired people and/or are friends with them will never really understand. My hair is admired by fellow longhairs for example..

I went to see a band play on the weekend, and there was like 15 longhairs. It was such a unbelievable feeling to be surrounded by a good number of fellow long hairs. I guess the shorthairs were mad b/c they couldn't headbang with their buzz cuts:P
