Why can a man not go to the regular womens hairsaloon and get a hair
treatment like the women, in order to keep the hair good looking ?
It should not be any female and male hairstyles it should only be
long and short.
I do not know of any rules or law that forbids you from expressing your rights and feelings about yourself. At first, I felt a little funny but that was quickly dispelled when I left the salon with my hair looking like it never did before- it is a unisex cut about shoulder length but looks neat and well groomed- why give it a gender?
In fact, my stylist recommended both a gel to protect my hair from blowdrying and Conair's hair blower that is in the shape of a curling iron- takes about 2-3 times to get it down but it can give you volume and control at home that you could only get in a salon in the past. Tryit, you'll like it!!!
Pete,
All of the hair salons I have visited were and are unisex salons. Living in L.A. for a number of years, I went to a salon specializing in long hair which was run by a long haired man. Knowing a lot of male musicians and actors, many of them did more treatments on their hair than I've ever done with mine. The only hair salons I have seen which one would mistake as being a women's only salon are the little neighborhood corner jobs.
Perhaps this will help, I'm a little brown thing and I once walked into a salon predominated by the blond, blue-eyed set and I had this hair bigger than Chaka Khan could ever wish for and the stylists' eyes just about popped out of their heads when I asked them to give me a perm and a colour. Needless to say, they did it and did a fantastic job too! Go for it!
