just as a matter of interest, has anyone here been refused entry to a pub/bar because of their hair? i was out tonight with a few long haired friends, went to walk into a bar and the doorman approached me saying "sorry, neat dress only". now im not a scruffy guy, and either are my friends, so the only possible reason i could think of for refusal is the fact we all had long hair. i dunno, maybe i'm just being paranoid and think the world is conspiring against me as usual.
So try changing your clothes...
Wear something 'appropriate' to that place and...
try again!
This time, if he doesn't let you guys in...
you will know that it is definitely discrimination based upon the length
of your hair and...

I've found it depends on the club. I've never had a problem
get into a club because of my hair. Clothes vary though.
I've had times when it said proper dress required and
I was able to get in wearing jeans/overalls/t-shirts/shorts/jeans with holes in the knees/etc. Sometimnes they enforce it/sometimes they don't.
I have waist lenght hair, have never been
refused asmission to a club because of
hair length.
