I was wondering if you had your hair perminantly straightened? If so, what was it and how much? Is it damaging, etc.?

I did it on thursday, its fantastic. I had to keep myhair untied and unwashed for 3 long days, then yesterday I went for a deep conditioning, and a trim.
I bought the ionic brush and its fantastic, it makes hair look wonderful.
Scroll down, on thursday I made part 1 of this, and the final result is great. I can very easily go from totally straight to a bit of wave, its managable, soft. Its better than the day before I had it. I can wet my hair, actually I got wet in the rain, no curling, no frizz. Its amazing. I'm loving it and I seriously reccomend it. The downside... I paid over 450 for the whole thing, the straightening is 300, but I bought the brush and products. I'll be posting a picture of the ponytail I got today. I couldn't believe it was my hair.
