Can anybody give me some tips to put some life into my really dry hair? Right now the thing is so dry that it's nearly impossible to manage and has cotton-like qualities. Are there any gels or oils that would tame my hair and let it freely blow in the wind instead of it conforming to the wind? Please help!!!
Try jojoba oil. It worked for me.
Everyone's hair is different, but you might try the following:
Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo
Paul Mitchell The Conditioner (leave-in)
Finesse Shampoo Plus Conditioner, Moisturizing
Finesse Conditioner, Moisturizing
Bill recently suggested Infusium 23 to me, but I haven't had a
chance to try it yet. Also, some recommend Pantene Pro V, though
I find it makes my hair dry as straw.
In general, you want to stick with mild shampoos and products
with descriptions like moisturizing, gentle, and for damaged hair.
Get hot oil ASAP! or if you want to save money, buy coconut oil, heat it in the microwave for at least a min...dip a cotton ball, and rub it on your scalp and AT THE ENDS. afterwards leave it for thirty minutes....RINSE and shampoo lightly. then use a conditioner consistently.
