I have been told twice that my "fetish" for men with long, gorgeous hair is just a misplaced deep-seeded desire to be with women.
I have to forgive their ignorance because I see male long hair as part of "the package". Like a gift with a bow instead of just plain wrapped. It is what excites me to a certain extent but not the ONLY thing that excites me.
Your thoughts?
Making others "wrong" is one way of trying to stay in control. It's that simple. One way to make others wrong is to label them is a socially unacceptable label. "Lesbian and gay" are still not socially acceptable labels. If they were, these folks wouldn't have told you this, and you wouldn't wonder. Like another thread here, it's not socially acceptable for a man to be mistaken for a women though mistaking a woman for a man is okay.

Although I prefer long hair on women, some women with short hair look very attractive - OK, they'd look better still if they grew their hair, in my books. But I don't think I'm a closet gay if I fancy a short-haired woman!

Look at Hallie Berry (sp?)...She's on screensavers and calandars all over the world. Although I think she looked much better with locks, I don't think her short hair is turning many men away.
Goog God, I'd sell my left testicle to sleep with Halle Berry, for Christ's sake.
True beauty is just that, nevermind what hairstyle it has.
That is one thing that NO ONE has mistaken me for... I am a long haired chick with ample female features. No mistaking me for a guy! *giggling*
If often wondered that myself, but I dont think thats always the case. every once in a while a girl will hit on me, thats just a little bit manly, which is a bit annoying but oh well. so I guess sometime thats the case, but not always. then again the person could be bisexual. I just dont know
Next they will tell you that a man who wears dresses
has a "deep-seated desire" to be with women!
What circles of foolishness.
A man with a flowing mane has been considered very masculine and a sign of verility in many cultures, past and present. And as woman with exquisite taste you must simply be tuning into that. If you have known yourself to have had heterosexual feelings for most of your adult life, there is no one to question you but yourself. If you have lesbian feelings, you will know it. No one can tell you that.
Even if it were true, which I doubt, I haven't met too many long-haired lesbians. The truth is you like who you like, i.e. long-haired men. Don't let some amateur psychoanalyst try to classify you. I have long hair because I like it, and I like long hair on women.
If you like Long Hair, you like Long Hair. If you like Short Hair, you like Short Hair. If you like Bald, you like Bald. Simple as that! It's what YOU like, and EVERYBODY on the face of the Earth "likes" different things.
My thoughts: By their logic, the fact that I like guys with long hair makes me a closet heterosexual.
