I've noticed a bit of comments on my below average hair growth. I was curious to what I can drop and what I can pick up as far as food intake, exercise, and supplements. I'm on biotin 600 now, but thats all. I don't get ENOUGH exercise, will biking do the trick? I don't feel like pumping irons and stuff, mabey a good bit of biking will help? Should I drop fast foods and colas and other unneeded sweets?
Any other supplements I should be on?
Just thought this out:
1) Ride bike for 1 hour a day, if not more.
2) No sweets unless in a needed food (fruits ect)
3) No colas, juices, or anything besides water.
4) Get on a healthy sleep schedule
5) NO eating out at fast food resturants, unless it's a Wendys Salad.(Good stuff)
Anything else you guys can think of to improve my lifestyle, and general health, let me know.
For some reason, I think YOU think that if you do all that stuff, you're hair will grow faster at some rate.
The chances of that are slim.
Although I have been taking a multi-vitamin since January and can confirm that I probably have more growth because of it (Im at 11 months and my bangs are maybe less than an inch from my chin. Ill post pics tomorrow when I get my webcam for my birthday :-D) I highly doubt that by doing what you said it will help you much with your situation.
All you need to do it wait and bear through it. Is is cliched? Is it old and tired? Sure, but it's the truth.
And I've seen your pics below and are you sure you've been growing for 7 months? I honestly don't think thats physically possible unless you've been cutting it in some way.
Those spots on the camera also look a LOT like dandruff.

I got a buzzcut somewhere near jan. I just say january 1st or so because I'm not exactly sure. It WAS near the begining of the month because thats when my last classes were.
I don't know if it will help to do all that but I don't drink sodas, don't eat sweets, work out everyday, and spend hours in the dojo. My hair grows about an inch a month. To tell you the truth though you should eat right and exercise not for your hair but for you. Onces you get into it it make your day better.
Good luck
Seems like we get this question once a week.
Patience is the supplement that you need the most.
Moze you are posting an AWFUL lot. Start combining your posts instead of spamming the board. See my post below about your plan.
And again, Dan has great longhair and would know that patience is the key.
Just wait!!

I wouldn't say Moze is spamming this board. All his questions are as legit as anyone else's and brings consistent discussions. He's got as much right as any one else to post here as much as he wants to post. Let's build people up on this board, not boss 'em around and break their spirit. He doesn't need parents here to. Peace!
Couldn't have said it better myself, so I won't even try.
No matter what some say... your habits and nutritional intake can really help you be able to grow the rate your body is able to grow. Lack of sleep, lack of excercise, lack of healthy habits, and excess of junk food and sodas really beat up your growth rate.
Do everything you said... if you're that motivated, GREAT!, it will help your hair, your body, your health, and you might even loose all the excess fat, that most of us have on different proportions.
Juice is good. Natural juice. Tropicana, for example is overprocessed, but if you find a brand that can proove its 100% natural... it might be a great complement for water. If you're not sure, get oranges, lemons, and carrots and try to make your own juices. Orange+ carrot is delicious, and it puts quite a load of vitamins together. Try jell-o and animal protein, or soy, if you're a veggie- Also try to get a simple multivitamin, like one a day or Centrum. Try it out!, its a great idea.
You can't speed up hair growth. It's as simple as that. Anything you've heard/read to the contrary is strictly myth. Hair grows at whatever rate your body is going to produce it. Period.
