What length is considered long enough to ponytail? With it being 90 degrees outside now I dont like having my hair down. When I put my hair in a ponytail there's about 6 inches of ponytail and I can't get all the front to stay in the ponytail. My hair is about 9 inches of length but is this kind of ponytail tacky? I want my hair to look a little neater for work and when it's down it's way past my collar. Should I ponytail yet or wait? To give you an idea of my hairlengh is the same style and length as spoons hair. Do you guys consider this length sufficient for ponytails?
any and all posts much appreaciated
Use a couple of hair-pins, one on each side to hold in those front hairs that are not long enough. You can do this and hide the hair pins from view.
Yes, the sides usually need hair pins & gel
until they 'catch up' to the rest.
Good Luck
Do whatever makes you comfortable. Don't worry about what's "tacky."
I think it ultimately depends on what you feel the most comfortable
with (as mentioned before), but for me I can get -most- of the
hair into a tail, the parts that do not reach (yet) go behind
the ears. It feels so much better than a loose, sweaty mop on
hot days. Probably looks alot better too.
I have fine, straight hair so pins cannot be hidden, I simply
lack the hair bulk. But it doesn't matter as the parts that
don't reach the tail stay behind the ears.
