Someone please tell me why anyone in their right mind would do THIS! If I had hair like his in the first pic, I would never imagine cutting it. I guess him having long hair in the first place was just an eighties thing alone instead of who he seen himself to be. Each his own, I guess, but I don't understand it. Peace!
He just fancied a change.!
I've had short hair all my life and have wondered for a long time what it would be like to have long hair, not sure yet if i am a true long hair, that i won't know until i reach my goal.
Maybe he just got fed up of his hair and thought one day like we have, to change it...
Awsome Hair in first pic thou i must agree.. :)
Grale. :¬)
Just like Chris Cornell can, in my opinion - they've both got pretty versatile face shapes.
Is that the leadsinger of Sound Garden. That dude has an awesome voice. He should have kept the hair in my opinion. Peace!
Yes, he used to be the leadsinger before Soundgarden broke up.
He is the leadsinger of the new band Audioslave which he formed with former members of Rage Against the Machine.
Definitely looked better with the long hair.
Chris is good looking in his own right B U T the long hair made Him irresistable!
I went into shock and almost cried when I saw that he had chopped off his hair. What a shame.
While long hair is a wonderous thing, there are a few significant advantages that come with having short hair:
1) Less maintenance required
2) Doesn't tangle
3) Easier (and quicker) to wash
4) Cooler (temperature-wise, not appearance)
Bottom line: Those of us to choose to grow and keep our hair long are sacrificing the convenience of short hair for the enhanced appearance of long hair.
Of course, who knows why those two cut their hair. I know I don't. If they did it to be more in keeping with today's pop culture, it doesn't say much about their character.

I've never been able to fully agree with this. Once long hair is past the awkward stage I'd argue that it's far easier to maintain than short hair if you're prepared to just let it do its own thing.
Going for haircuts was the bane of my existence, and using gel and other products slowly drove me insane (I'm ok now though, I promise).
Nowadays I just have to shampoo every five days or so, and I've given up trying to keep my hair 100% tangle-free... so I don't spend so long combing anymore.
It's just there now, and hair was really nothing but an irritation until I finally let it grow. Although this is the view of someone with very straight hair...

Long hair tends to get dirtier that, quicker. The length simply allows us to go a longer period of time without washing it, depending on how clean we want to keep it.
Personally, I try and wash mine every day. Otherwise, it's just not manageable - at all. If I skip or miss an opportunity to wash it, I wear a pony tail until I get around to washing it again.

While I neglected to comment on your your photos a fair while back, I have to say that your hair is fantastic and that your routine obviously works in your favour.
It is just a matter of how much we can tolerate, I guess. The smell of the shampoo doesn't leave my hair for at least three days, even though I'm pretty physically active. However, I imagine it depends heavily on the air quality... since a day-trip into Central London makes me realise how much exhaust fumes can do.
Yup...
Hehehe... well, the smell of the shampoo is one thing, but the overall effect the shampoo has on keeping your hair clean is another matter altogether (wink wink).
You didn't mention how many days old your hair was, since your last washing, in the pic you posted, but it looks great!
Many, many factors have an impact on how well hair stands the test of time after a good washing.

Pfft, well - if the smell's still there then it obviously hasn't been completely replaced by anything else yet! That's well within my boundaries ;)

That was day three - and thanks!
That's it.... all I had to say about your pic... Adorable.
You have awesome hair! What else can be said?
.
Unbelievable. You do next to nothing to it and yet your hair is gorgeous. I slave over mine to keep it silky and healthy and it *still* doesn't look as nice as yours. Don't ever cut it. It suits you just fine. :-)
I never understand when these rockers go for these AWFUL haircuts... truly sad the day a man decides that he no longer wants his long hair.
Thanks God my guy KNOWS how much of a turn on his hair is and wouldn't even dream of cutting it off! His hair is about waistband.... and gorgeous! *thinking about making him pose for a pic that I can post*
He looked 100% better in the before pic.
