What are the religons fthat have long hair as part of it?
i just drew blank and i dont remember...
To use religon to keep hair.
I love my hair, and would do mostly anything to keep it. Except cheating about religion.
I find it weird though how just because you believe in a religion that has long hair as a part of it, it's accepted, but just believing you should be allowed to have long hair anyway isn't. Isn't it exactly the same principle?
How about any religion that honors the integrity of the person? Hmmmm. That doesn't leave many options, does it?

If you believe in God . . .
well, okay... do this: Picture all men WITHOUT haircuts!
Now L(.)(.)K around you...what do you see? A sea of men with hair
as God created men to look...
Isn't it amazing? Have you ever seen such a variet of colors & textures?
Who are these strange-looking creatures...wow...what did God
have in mind? WHY such long hair? No monkey has hair down to his knees...
What was going on inside His Head as he whilst he designed so thoughtfully?
Maybe it's a Mystery...
but there is NOTHING mysterious about short hair because we
know who did that...
MAN did!
Tell that to the preacher man...
.
Some Native American beliefs.
Sikh (longhair for men).
Orthodox Judiasm (long side locks for men)
Some obscure dead cult in Michigan (mainly women's hair).
Pentacostal (women's hair)
Islam (long beards only on men)
Etc.
Out of the thousands of different religions/cults/beliefs etc., there is probably a number of other ones that also have certain requirements or preferences one way or the other about hair.
"Hair Religion" is the only one that really matters when it comes to hair because it stresses that you grow your hair because you want to and not for the approval or disapproval of others. This is all that the religion (way of life) is concerned with and doesn't really require anything.
Contrarily to popular belief, Islam is a religion which permits long hair on men. It is recommended that it hangs down to the shoulders, but there is no harm having it beyond shoulder length as long as you are not imitating others.
