People keep telling me I look like Jesus. Even so far as to ask me to act in a play as Jesus. Not sure how to take that. I guess cuz I'm 6'0" tall, white, with long wavy brown hair past my shoulders AND Jewish. Think that's a compliment?
Being compared to a Man of Peace can't be bad!
Thanx for your story!

Hey, there's a classic titled _The Imitation of Christ_, but I never dreamed it would have hairstyling tips--!
Yep, it's a compliment!
This guy, Josey Scott of the band Saliva looks so much like Jesus, if Jesus had blonde highlights put in! lol...

Just thinking out loud here...
Christ was from what is the modern day Middle East. Ever seen a white guy with straight brown hair from that region?
Also, most adult men were 5'6" or shorter until the 17th or 18th century (A.D.). Had he been 6' or taller, it surely would've been noted prominently, no?
Your thoughts?
Everyone is missing the point about "looking like Jesus". People don't mean you *actually* look like Jesus. They mean you look like the representations of Jesus in paintings.
I expect it's not intended as a compliment, more as an observation that you are a lanky man with long, centre-parted hair, and possibly a beard (and possibly also a loincloth, although maybe not). However, in fact, I think it is a compliment. After all, you never see an ugly Jesus, do you?
