The Republican witch hunt has nothing to do with the performance of the responsibility of office. The sitting president may be dumb regarding sex, but if you prize your own personal freedom speak out.
Otherwise, the thought police will be in your bedroom, in the name of small government, to cut of your hair.

AF: Ever heard of the "boiled-frog syndrome"? It is when one restrictive law is passed after another, and the people were willing to accept each law as only a "little bit", but pretty soon those "little bits" can add up to a lot. Apparently, people get USED TO more and more restriction over a long time, just like the frog who is getting USED TO the boiling water. And you think that Hitler came in with a bang rather than a wimper! Remember, "the road to ruin is paved with good intentions."
AF: Also, what are you talking about punishment? Some skinhead gangs would think of hair-cuts as a REWARD!
TB: We can't compare them now, but we must never forget that it can happen again. We need to recognize it so we can stop it before it happens again. For example, we need to be aware if they start shipping the homeless people to isolated prison camps or giving people long prison sentences for transporting one carton of cigarettes into a state that charges extra taxes on cigarettes.
