I have had hair like a girl since 2nd grade. I started with pony tales then moved on to braids. My sister taught me how to braid and I learned from girls at school. By 6th grade I was wearing two braids and got my ears pierced. The first day of 7th grade I had a french braid down to my behind with an extra-fluffy white scrunchy and large sivler hoop earrings.
I think hair like a girl is fine, but you might go to the extreme like me. If you don't care what others say and have some friends whom are open minded than you can go as far as you want. I finally graduated from high school and changed from my big hair look and now dress like an earthy hippy girl with wavy red hair and long wavy skirts to compliment. Good Luck and Girl hair for Boys forever.
I have a similar story and would love to talk to you. please E-mail me. Arraby@AOL.COM
Have not yet gotten the nerve up for a long G Dead type of skirt,
but have braided my hair or high pig tails with a variety of
dangling or large hoop earrings. Feel somewhat uncomfortable,
but go for it when I am around special friends or out of town.
Would like to see more of this , but very seldom do on the east
coast.
