I was looking at the pictures of my hair progress on my site. In doing so I made a visual comparison between the first (2-27-03) picture and the last (7-27-03) picture. This is 5 months growth from start to current. I did a measurement from where the hair ended in the February pic to where the hair ended in the July pic (bangs/fringe)and dicovered that I have grown 4 inches in 5 months. It is 4 inches from my eyebrow to just below my lower lip. Must be the vitamins I've been taking. Thought I would share! Peace!

I'm experiencing similiar growth, and I'm taking GNC's Men's Nourishair. I'm averaging about 3/4" a month. Better than average so I'll keep sticking with it. It's only ten bucks for a months supply, so it's not a bad investment. I'm curious if you're taking any special "hair vitamins", and if so, what kind?

I don't particularly think that vitamins differentiate between the sexes. LOL! Hair is hair. Just remember, good over-all health promotes good hair health. When your general health suffers, it tends to drag everthing along with it. An everyday vitamin suppliment is very good for this concept. Peace!
Is that also true for the hair on the back of your head?
Back in February, the hair in the back of my head was a 1/2 inch long because it had grown out to that long from being buzzed for the under-cut I used to have that screwed my hair up. Everything top and bangs was considerably longer in February. I just pulled a strand from the back of my head and measured it. It is 4 1/2 inches long which is consistent with 4 inches since February, the same as the bangs and top. Thanks for asking. Peace!
Imagine if you are one of the lucky ones whose hairs can get 5 or 6 years of growth before falling out. With your growth rate of nearly an inch per month, that could really get long!
I surely hope so, my friend, but even with a growth rate like this, it's still taking FOREVER!!! LOL! Oh well, I'll just have to do like everyone else and wait, huh? Peace!
your hair is growing faster than the standard 1/2" per month. I don't know why, but the front part still looks like its grown longer and quicker than the sides and back.
I think the reason it looks that way is because of how uneven my lengths are throughout my hair. There are also more judging points to go by for length down the face of a person than there is down the back of the head because of the lightness of skin and various facial features on the face, but there are no color tone differences in the back exept the neck line alone. Now if that gibberish made any sense, please explain it to me! LOL! Anyway, the measurements I have made judge for me that I am getting consistant growth throughout. Thanks and Peace!
